We're busy as hell back here in West Philly. Slumlord is currently in the process of writing and demoing material for our 3rd full length release, to be tentatively recorded by Sonic Tom Scheponik in January 2008. We are also making plans to start branching outta Philly to NYC and Boston with GOD'S LIGHTNING and DESTRUCT-A-THON. We are also in the process of piecing together a video for the track "OP:MF" from our 1347AD record, which will surely be posted on youtube soon.
We have also been making contributions to other musical acts. The three of us added vocals to the new album by F!, another Philly band stylistically reminicscent of the Secret Chiefs, Mr. Bungle, etc.
Ryan continues to drum on occasion with THE SHOVEL (with Bob Hahn from Gringo Motel).
Kermit has been laying down tracks with progressive death metal band RETURNER.
He also has been playin guitar live and in studio with old chums BERNIE (BERNIE HEADFLAP).
In addition, he has been known to hit people with guitars, fists and beer cans while playing with BEER, the world's best (and probably only) FEAR tribute band.
Between gigs and hangovers, he plays with CRACKULA and does a mean acoustic set, too.
